作品自述：

主要是以自然为特点的基本形式，采用顺序结构、几何元素、雕塑和使用大量颜色，这是作品的主要特征。当雕塑家们停止使用颜色，他却继续在陶器上使用颜色，一件单色雕塑不应该比有色的雕塑更抽象，其只是处于不同平面。色彩所表达的信息价值高于其造型价值。色彩可以吸引眼球，增加作品的表现力。是外形和色彩达到统一是一种挑战。色彩对外形产生影响，他能够突出外形或加强形的效果。作者所体验的不仅有烧制后雕塑比例和张力的变化，还有整个过程结束后带给我们惊奇

作品自述：

我的作品主要表达一些与空间或蔬菜形式相关的抽象概念。

我试图去寻找表现出来的处于空间和形状之间的感知能量。

最终做出的作品往往贴近自然原始的结构。

我通过绘画在形式和表面之间建立联系。

模式是一种外部形式，一种适应性强的外部形式。

我所采用的网状模式，通过线条、交叉、扭转和波动增加了形状本身的表现力，提高了几何感及平衡和顺序之间的感知力。

STATEMENT

I work with abstract concepts related to feelings that can be associated with constructive ideas of space or vegetables forms.

I try to find expressions which materialized  the perceived energy that flows between the space and the shapes.

The resulting work is always close to nature´s primeval structures.

I establis relationships between form and surface though the drawing.

Pattern is a type of skin, an adaptable wrapper.

The net type patterns I use, lines,crossroads, torsion  and  undulation increases the expresiveness of shape and enhance the rhythm of geometry and the sensuality of balance and order.

个人简历：陶瓷艺术家，雕刻家和画家，出生于1956年4月3日西班牙北部的ASTURIAS自治区GIJON市

          从十岁开始踏上他的艺术之路，曾在“AGRUPACION  ARTISTICA  GIJONESA”学习绘画和雕塑。由于受到作为作家和艺术评论家的父亲的影响，他经常有机会去各地参观艺术展览，这对他帮助很大。

          从20岁开始他的手工陶瓷艺术生涯

          1985年他开办了陶瓷艺术学校“TEXTURE”，并在这个享誉国内外的学校任教长达15年，这段经历于1999年11月结束。

          从2000年开始，他全身心投入于他自己的个人手工作坊，同时还在国内各个学校任教，并在意大利、葡萄牙、苏格兰、阿尔及利亚、阿根廷、乌拉圭等国家教学

          他的个人作品展和集体展数不胜数。在许多博物馆和私人的收藏中都能找到他作品的痕迹。

Jesus Castanon Loche

Ceramist and sculptor, was born on 3^rd April 1956 in Gijon (Asturias) a region in Northern Spain.

At the age of ten, he began his artistic path taking drawing and sculpture lessons at the “AGRUPACION ARTISTICA GIJONESA”. Later on and led by his father, the writer and art critic LUCIANO CASTANON, he has the chance to meet important regional artists and frequently visit their studies, which serves him as part as his training.

At the age of 20 he decides to dedicate himself exclusively to the world of ceramics, combining his handicrafts with more artistic works.

In 1985 he sets up “TEXTURE”, a school-worship of ceramics, which attained great national and international prestige for 15 years. At this workshop an important group of international and well known ceramists imparted their teachings. Since 2000 he has entirely dedicated himself to develop his personal artistic work and to teach worldwide and in different national schools, giving training courses in Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Algeria, Argentina, Uruguay, etc…

Numerous are his individual as collective exhibitions. His work can be found at important private collections and museums.
