陶艺家自述：

这些作品通过用未加工的陶土和非工业化烧制方法的柴窑来探索时间。手工塑形、雕刻，表面之所以呈现出图片上的结果，是因为作品本身没有施釉，而是柴窑烧制过程中柴灰所造就的。

他们向当今超媒体信息和永久文化提出挑战，用最简单、最直观的手法将我们脚下的泥土进行塑造。这些物体被埋于地下，现在才与我们交谈。他们本身就是最真实的自然，而并非仅与自然有关。

 ARTIST STATEMENT

These works are a continuation of my exploration of our time through the use of native, raw (unprocessed) clays and the pre-industrial method of firing ceramics in a wood fueled kiln. The forms are all hand built and carved and the surface effects are entirely from the interaction of the unglazed clay and the burning wood. 

They challenge our hyper-mediated information obsessed, and perpetually distracted culture. Working intuitively and with simple processes the land (under our feet) is transformed. The objects are grounded in earth time yet speak to us now. They are of nature, not about nature.
